Eurami March 2024 Update

EURAMI unveils the Conference Agenda Committee and seeks individuals for its Ethics Committee

EURAMI Ethics Committee

In response to EURAMI’s growth and expanding membership, the EURAMI Board acknowledges the necessity for an Ethics Committee to transparently address complex issues. This independent body will objectively investigate complaints, ensuring impartiality and avoiding conflicts of interest. To underscore our commitment to transparency, EURAMI is actively seeking individuals with impeccable integrity from within our membership for the committee. Nominations closed at the end of February, and suitable candidates will be selected by the end of March. Diversity is a priority, with EURAMI aiming for a balanced mix of genders, professional backgrounds, and geographical representation. Recognising potential turnover, nominees not selected initially may serve in the future. This initiative reinforces our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability. The Ethics Committee will play a crucial role in upholding these principles as our organisation continues to evolve.

Unveiling the Conference Agenda Committee for the second EURAMI Conference

Following the resounding success and positive reception of the inaugural EURAMI Conference, we are delighted to announce the formation of a dedicated Conference Agenda Committee for the upcoming second EURAMI Conference, scheduled to take place on 9 November 2024, in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria. As we prepare for another dynamic and informative gathering, the establishment of this committee underscores our commitment to delivering an even more enriching experience for our participants, focusing on topics currently being debated in our industry. The EURAMI Conference Agenda Committee will play a pivotal role in shaping the event by planning the agenda and selecting speakers to ensure an equally exciting and engaging conference day. The committee comprises the following members: Dr Bettina Vadera, Philipp Schneider, Brandon Bates, and Dr Marek Rozwadowski, alongside Managing Director Claudia Schmiedhuber. By fostering collaboration and tapping into the collective expertise within our community, we are confident that the second EURAMI Conference will set new benchmarks and provide a platform for meaningful discussions within the industry. We already look forward to welcoming you all to Vienna! Stay tuned for further updates coming soon!

EURAMI introduces Enhanced Audit Scoring Software

EURAMI proudly announces a significant upgrade to its audit scoring software, enabling members to input data and upload documents directly. This streamlined process ensures improved document management, expediting on-site audits for auditees and auditors alike. The user-friendly feature enhances accuracy and accessibility, aiming to create a collaborative and time-efficient audit process that elevates industry standards. Claudia Schmiedhuber, Managing Director at EURAMI, stated, “This upgrade demonstrates our commitment to innovation and responsiveness to our members' needs. It allows members to work directly in our in-house software, reducing preparation time and enabling real-time progress monitoring for auditors – a more streamlined and optimised process.” Members can expect updates and briefings on software usage in the upcoming weeks.
