The operations of Flying Doctors Korea span a wide region with a highly trained staff. High-quality patient transfers and successful missions are at the core of this pioneering business

K-POP, K-Culture, Samsung – these are the contemporary hallmarks that encapsulate the essence of Korea. Consequently, the cultural and commercial facets of Korea have garnered significant global interest, leading to an upsurge in the influx of international visitors. Strategically positioned between Japan and China, Korea not only epitomises East Asia but also serves as a pivotal nexus connecting the Americas and Southeast Asia.

Within this dynamic landscape, Flying Doctors Korea stands as the pioneering and exclusive air ambulance organisation in the country. It has 100% ownership of a Hawker 800XPi fleet and operates an in-house team of pilots, mechanics, flight managers, and Korean medical professionals and nurses, thereby delivering the highquality patient transfer services. Their operations span across the United States, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Marshall Islands, and more, offering direct or wing-to-wing formations.

Take Guam, for instance, renowned as an Asian tourist hotspot and a strategic military base for the United States, yet it grapples with poor medical infrastructure. Addressing this need, Flying Doctors Korea has been instrumental in providing one flight leg of the entire journey from Guam to performed to him and Flying Doctors’ air ambulance service culminated in a successful mission execution.

Leveraging such specialised transfer expertise, Flying Doctors Korea has conducted over 250 cases involving approximately 500 individuals, inclusive of commercial airline missions, over a span of three years. This record includes prior experience of providing transfer services to Korean conglomerates such as Samsung, LG, and Hyundai.

Furthermore, Flying Doctors Korea currently offers comprehensive medical assistance services, including evacuation services, under an exclusive agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and others. This forms a ‘Total Care Assistance Solution’ membership service.

Presently, an overwhelming 90% of all governmental institutions in Korea maintain an active membership contract with Flying Doctors Korea
