Updates from the EURAMI Office

CAME 2.0. Standards committee

The work on the new EURAMI CAME Standards Version 2.0. has kicked off with our committee members working on five different sections – Business Organisation & Ethics; Safety & Qualify; Operations; Medical; and Logistics – to create a current and comprehensive set of standards geared towards the transport of patients on commercial air carriers. The first draft of standards will be finalised by the end of June before being reviewed and approved by the EURAMI Board. The membership will receive the new set of Standards ahead of the EURAMI General Assembly at ITIC Global 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. The EURAMI CAME Standards 2.0. will come into effect from 1 January 2024.

Conference attendance

EURAMI will be at several conferences in 2023 with Claudia Schmiedhuber, Managing Director of EURAMI, representing the association. We look forward to meeting with our members, new interested parties, as well as case managers, hospitals, insurance and assistance companies all over the globe to promote excellence and quality in aero-medical transportation.
