EURAMI December 2024

Season's greetings from EURAMI! As 2024 comes to a close, we take this moment to reflect on the remarkable achievements of our members and team. Together, we've continued to elevate standards in the aeromedical industry, paving the way for innovation and excellence across the globe.

Expanding excellence in aeromedical accreditation

This year, EURAMI celebrated the approval of nearly 20 reaccreditations and primary accreditations in 13 countries – a testament to the dedication of our global aeromedical community. With 30+ audits already planned for 2025 across five continents, we are poised for another groundbreaking year.

Notably, the introduction of the EURAMI Assessment Application in 2024 has transformed our processes. This cloud-based platform has enhanced document submissions and communication, offering greater efficiency for both auditees and auditors. Over the next two years, we aim to expand its capabilities, including advanced CRM functionalities, improved document management, and enhanced data analytics.

Strengthening global partnerships

EURAMI’s global presence continues to grow, thanks to active participation in conferences and collaborations. A highlight this year was our presentation to the European Defence Agency in Brussels, an important step in broadening EURAMI’s recognition by supranational organisations.

A successful second EURAMI Aeromedical Conference

On 9 November, the second EURAMI Aeromedical Conference in Vienna brought together over 80 attendees from 40 companies across 25 countries. Discussions with 15 speakers and five moderators in five sessions covered critical topics, such as adapting business models, addressing mental health for crews, tackling the effects of climate change on in-flight medical care, and global risks affecting our members’ daily operations. The event underscored the importance of leadership, teamwork, and innovation in overcoming global challenges.

EURAMI leadership

We are pleased to announce the re-election of Dr Cai Glushak, Lisa Humphries, and Philipp Schneider at the 39th EURAMI General Assembly. Dr Glushak will continue to serve as President, with Philipp Schneider as Vice President. Joining them are board members Mark Chapman, Dr Simon Forrington, Franziska Hollenstein and Dr Bettina Vadera. Their dedication drives our mission to uphold the highest standards in air medical services worldwide.

Looking ahead

As we prepare for an exciting 2025, we are committed to advancing our strategic initiatives and keeping you updated on our progress. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support and unwavering dedication to quality, innovation, and patient safety in the aeromedical industry.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season and a successful new year!
