The board of the European Aero-Medical Institute shares its latest news with ITIJ, detailing which air medical providers are demonstrating their committment to quality care in the air through undertaking and successfully completing the accreditation process

HMC Lifeflight achieves EURAMI reaccreditation
Qatar-based rotary wing air ambulance operator HMC Lifeflight has successfully achieved its reaccreditation with the European AeroMedical Institute e.V.
HMC Lifeflight has been awarded HEMS & Interhospital Rotary Wing Air Ambulance accreditation, as well as endorsements in Adult Critical Care, Advanced Adult Critical Care and Paediatric Critical Care.
The company, based out of Doha, Qatar, underwent the accreditation process in February 2022 and was approved by the Board in May. Lifeflight operates its own fleet of dedicated rotary wing air ambulance aircraft and has been accredited by EURAMI since 2014.

EMA Global
EMA Global achieves dual EURAMI reaccreditation
Singapore-based aeromedical operator EMA Global has once again completed its reaccreditation.
EMA Global was accredited in the categories of Regional Fixed Wing Air Ambulance, International / Long-range Fixed Wing Air Ambulance as well as Commercial Airline Medical Escort. The company was endorsed for Adult Critical Care and Advanced Adult Critical Care.
EMA Global, under the medical leadership of Dr Winston Jong, operates an extensive fleet of air ambulance aircraft and has been safely transporting patients since 2002. The company has been accredited by EURAMI since 2012.
The EURAMI Board & Office congratulates the Medway Air Ambulance Team on its great work and successful re-accreditation.
Launch of the EURAMI Corporate Membership
The European Aero-Medical Institute is delighted to introduce the EURAMI Corporate Membership, which will allow for corporations to join and support EURAMI with its mission.
Who can apply?
Any corporation that does not provide any aeromedical services and would like to support EURAMI with its goals, as well as work closely with EURAMI’s Board & Accredited Membership. Entities might include insurance and assistance companies, risk management entities, ground ambulance providers, or similar corporations.
Duties & Regulations
Excerpt from the EURAMI Standards 2019: A Corporate Member is legal corporation interested in the supporting the Association’s purpose and goals. Corporate organisations are represented by a designated Representative Member. This may be any natural person working for that corporate member.
