The board of the European Aero-Medical Institute shares its latest news with ITIJ, detailing which air medical providers are demonstrating their committment to quality care in the air through undertaking and successfully completing the accreditation process
Critical Care Medflight (CCM)
Critical Care Medflight (CCM) successfully achieves primary EURAMI accreditation
US-based Fixed Wing Air Ambulance CCM has successfully achieved its primary accreditation with the European Aero-Medical Institute e.V. CCM has been awarded with Regional and Intercontinental / Long-Range Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Accreditation as well as endorsements in Adult Critical Care, Advanced Adult Critical Care and Pediatric Critical Care.
The company, based out of Lawrenceville, Georgia, has undergone the accreditation process in the beginning of 2022 and was approved by the Board in April. CCM operates its own fleet of dedicated Air Ambulance Aircraft alongside its sister companies Angel Medflight and Medway Air Ambulance.

Medway Air Ambulance successfully achieves dual EURAMI Re-accreditation
Medway was accredited in the categories of Regional Fixed Wing Air Ambulance, International / Long-range Fixed Wing Air Ambulance as well as Commercial Airline Medical Escort. The company was endorsed for Adult Critical Care, Advanced Adult Critical Care, Pediatric Critical Care and Neonatal Critical Care.
Medway Air Ambulance operates an extensive fleet of Air Ambulance Aircraft and has its headquarters in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The company’s new Base in Stuart, Florida was also audited and approved by the EURAMI Board.

Launch of the EURAMI Standards Committee
The EURAMI Board is delighted to announce the launch of the EURAMI Standards Committee for the EURAMI Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Standards Version 6.0. Led by Chairman Dr Simon Forrington, the EURAMI Standards Committee members are highly regarded experts in their fields and will collaborate to create a new set as standards which will reflect the latest developments in medicine and aviation, take into consideration current events and issues, as well as assure a fully global point of view.
The new EURAMI standards will consist of five sections, as outlined below.
