37th EURAMI General Assembly and ITIC Global

With over 70 participants and a full agenda, EURAMI President Dr Cai Glushak, Vice President Philipp Schneider, and Managing Director Claudia Schmiedhuber presented the latest developments and accomplishments alongside Chief Auditor Dr Mike Braida and Head of Standards Dr Simon Forrington. As 2022 was a voting year for EURAMI, the membership not only approved the 2022 EURAMI Statues and the Honorary Memberships for past President Dr Laurent Taymans and Past Vice President Pascaline Wolfermann, but also elected four Board Members. Sergio Abril, Franziska Hollenstein and Mark Chapman were re-elected and joined by new Board Member and EURAMI Head of Standards Dr Simon Forrington as the seventh Board member.

In addition to a busy voting year, EURAMI launched the new Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Standards V. 6.0, which will come into effect on 1 January 2023. For the first time in EURAMI’s history, the standards were created by a dedicated committee, chaired by Dr Simon Forrington. EURAMI thus would like to sincerely thank our committee members for their expertise, time, and effort:

We are all truly proud of the result and look forward to developing the new Commercial Airline Medical Escort Standards in 2023, followed by the Rotary Wing Air Ambulance Standards. We would also like to express our gratitude to the ITIC Team for a fantastic conference – we were truly busy at our booth and are already looking forward to exhibiting at ITIC Global 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.
