Faye debuts new site and app features
The upgrade is one of multiple launches the startup has planned for 2024
Travel insurance and assistance startup Faye has introduced new features and a refreshed brand aesthetic to its site and app to increasingly cater to the needs of today’s travellers and travel advisers.
Built by the Faye team, the new features of the app are to enable further support of travellers throughout their entire journey, from takeoff to checkout. This includes local medical assistance such as locating emergency departments and pharmacies, a currency converter, destination-specific app recommendations and a more sophisticated claim filing process.
Elad Schaffer, Co-Founder and CEO of Faye, said: “Two years ago we entered the market with the sole mission of building a complete platform for looking after travellers while they’re on the road. We sought to combine excellent insurance, real-time travel care, proactive trip monitoring and financial solutions for Americans, wherever they wish to travel. As the fastest growing company in this space, we felt it was the right time to kick things up a notch with an even bolder look and even more useful features to help trips go right.”
In the last year Faye launched telemedicine, a dedicated travel adviser portal. In the coming year the company plans to grow its presence with key travel partners, launching more customisable plans for specific travel personas, and increasingly utilising artificial intelligence (AI) tools for claim document processing. In addition, Faye plans to enhance its portal for travel advisers with even more capabilities around policy and claim management.
Last year, Faye announced the launch of a telemedicine offering in partnership with Air Doctor to connect policyholders to a network of 20,000 doctors and services.
