Air Ambulance Worldwide announces takeover
Air Ambulance Worldwide has been acquired by Geno Haggan, the owner of Peak Medevac International
In a statement, the Air Ambulance Worldwide team said that the takeover had resulted in an “enhanced concentration of industry expertise”, greater access to aviation resources, and improved patient safety and care.
The firm will continue to operate under the Air Ambulance Worldwide brand for the foreseeable future, and will retain Lauren Dulin as its CEO – but will now benefit from “its strategic position in the Haggan group of aviation companies”.
Air Ambulance Worldwide also guaranteed the continuity of its communication and customer services following the takeover, but promised “increased maintenance reliability and incremental fleet renewal” with the support of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) firm Haggan Aviation – another firm founded by Geno Haggan.
The company also hopes to offer “faster response times and more comprehensive coverage” as a result of the takeover, through “increased fleet and a network of strategically located bases”.
Fellow air medical firm European Air Ambulance told ITIJ about its own plans for 2024 in our February issue.
