QIC wins Middle East travel insurance award
Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) was named the best travel insurance company in the Middle East at this year’s Global Banking & Finance Review Awards
This is the second consecutive year that QIC has won the award, presented by the London-based Global Banking & Finance Review.
The award recognizes the company’s region-wide “outstanding performance at the levels of travel product digitization and customer service excellence”.
“Winning this award for the second year in a row is a strong testament to our continuous success in taking travel insurance to higher levels regionwide, offering travelers the best cover and the most convenient digital services,” said Salem Al Mannai, CEO of QIC Group.
In the neighboring UAE, employer-funded health insurance is due to become mandatory from next year.
