Global Excel Indonesia reduces hospital discharge times
Third party administrator Global Excel Management is launching a new programme aimed at reducing hospital discharge times in Indonesia
On average, most hospital stays in Indonesia last three to five days, with a further four to eight hours just to be discharged. While administrative tasks are fulfilled by experienced Global Excel Indonesia team members, the company believes that patients can easily prepare for their swift return home, avoiding the typically stressful administrative process.
How does the programme work?
‘‘Our aim is to ensure we bring peace of mind to the patient and their family members as well as the hospitals and insurers,” said Steven Om, Director of Global Excel Indonesia. “We believe that each client is unique, as are their needs, but they all have one thing in common: high expectations.
“With our new Hospital Express Discharge Program, we make it easy for members to get back home quickly, reducing their stress, especially during this global health crisis.’’
The Express Discharge Program is available and ensures that claims are processed efficiently, while automatically providing billing and coverage information. Any further medical or coverage details are processed by Global Excel Indonesia, which has more than 20 years’ experience working in the healthcare sector in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, RS Awal Bros Hospital Group has been awarded a 10-year loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to build new hospitals in Indonesia. The IFC – a sister organisation of the World Bank and member of the World Bank Group – is headquartered in Washington DC in the US and invests in for-profit and commercial projects designed to reduce poverty and promote development around the world.
