Cover Genius to offer Via.com customers CFAR protection
Via.com will integrate Cover Genius’ global distribution platform XCover
Insurtech Cover Genius has announced its partnership with Via.com, a subsidiary of Ebix and an online travel company with a strong presence across India and Southeast Asia, to offer travellers ‘Cancel For Any Reason’ (CFAR) protection.
By integrating with Cover Genius’ global distribution platform, XCover, Via.com will introduce embedded CFAR travel protection in Indonesia.
Research, conducted by Momentive.ai and commissioned by Cover Genius, shows that consumers desire convenient embedded protection offers, and 75 per cent of Indonesian travellers prefer to purchase travel insurance from their travel provider for their next trip. As such, this partnership with Via.com will deliver CFAR protection to travellers at the price point they want, with benefits relevant to their needs.
Through XCover, smooth and easy claims processing is available in more than 40 languages and over 90 currencies, including Bahasa Indonesia and Indonesian Rupiah.
