Collinson Group strengthens international health team
The Collinson Group recently announced that it has bolstered its international health team, appointing Helen Love as its head of international medical network. Based in Haywards Heath in the UK, Helen will report to head of market development for health Denise Groom, and her responsibilities will include spearheading the continued development of Intana's comprehensive global medical network.
Helen’s appointment, according to the Collinson Group, is part its growth aspirations in the travel, assistance and international private medical insurance sectors. She joins from Bupa Global, where she served as senior market development manager, with responsibility for developing strategic partnerships for the international market including P&L responsibility for partnership performance and the assessment of product-based solutions to drive growth.
Her focus in her new role, said the Group, will be on strategic partnerships and collaboration with organisations to deliver an ‘unrivalled, high quality, global network to meet all customers’ health and travel needs’.
“Helen has exceptional experience in developing and managing high performing partnerships [and] medical networks across multiple regions,” said Denise Groom. “This, together with her in-depth knowledge and understanding of international health markets, will be a real asset as we seek to more widely develop our health (insurance) capabilities.”
Helen, meanwhile, said that ‘the depth of expertise within Collinson Group and the unique set of wider capabilities it can offer to international health and travel clients is a major strength and unreplicated in this market’. “I am very much relishing the opportunity to help further build and develop these capabilities to enhance the service experience and drive commercial value for our clients,” she added.
