The new programme will allow doctors at Previta to collaborate with Cleveland Clinic experts to ‘review complex cases and create a personalised treatment plan for the patient’.

Previta’s care team will serve as the clinical coordinator for the peer-to-peer consulting process, working with patients to collect and submit all necessary information to Cleveland Clinic physicians to review and respond.

“The collaboration with Previta will enable Cleveland Clinic specialists to provide peer-to-peer consults to our clinical partners and their patients in Mexico,” said Curtis Rimmerman, Chairman of International Operations at the Cleveland Clinic.

He added: “Peer-to-peer consults can be a valuable resource in complex healthcare situations. This partnership will unlock access to more than 3,500 Cleveland Clinic physicians across advanced subspecialties without the need to travel abroad.”
