Feeling the pinch


A survey conducted by Which? Holiday magazine has revealed that British travellers are cutting down the length of their breaks, with 86 per cent of those surveyed claiming that they still get the same value for money on a shorter holiday. Lorna Cowan, editor of Which? Holiday magazine, said: "People are just being canny with their money but they are predicting that as a result of the economic crisis, they are finding value for money in products of a lower value." In addition, The Travel Trade Gazette stated recently that the price of foreign holidays is set to soar in 2010.
