Client non-disclosure is an issue that haunts travel insurers, but a recent case in the UK has prompted one member of parliament to say that the duty should be placed on the insurer to ask the right questions. Mandy Aitchison has the full story

A member of parliament (MP) in the UK is asking travel insurance companies to take responsibility for checking that the potential client has given all possible medical information to the insurer, after another case of claim denial based on non-disclosure of medical information led to a holidaymaker being stranded in Turkey in intensive care.
