Startupbootcamp InsurTech, an accelerator programme focused on insurance technology startups and corporate innovation, has announced a new collaboration with multi-line insurer Zurich Insurance Group.
The collaboration allows Zurich to engage with Startupbootcamp InsurTech’s portfolio, consisting of startups with innovative business models and emerging technologies operating at various points of the insurance value chain.
“We are very excited to welcome Zurich onto the Startupbootcamp InsurTech programme,” said Sabine VanderLinden, managing director of Startupbootcamp InsurTech. “This collaboration will enable us to provide more international resources to our startups and drive innovation in the insurance industry through collaborative projects. We look forward to working alongside such a notable, global insurer.”
Antony Elliott, Zurich’s group head of business transformation, said the company is excited about the partnership. “We are committed to serving our customers in a way that feels personal, effective and unique,” he said. “That's why we are so excited to work with Startupbootcamp InsurTech. From what we have seen so far, this year’s selection of startups have some really innovative approaches to improving how the insurance industry works for customers, as well as to increase operational efficiency. For us, it's great to work with startups who are solving industry problems with propositions and services our customers desire, and to embrace certain aspects of the startup culture.”
