A new partnership between Greater Anglia, which is the operator of the Stansted Express train line, and Thomas Cook Money will enable customers to ‘conveniently and seamlessly’ purchase travel insurance ahead of their travel.
The ‘Roam’ policy provides Stanstead Express customers with access to digital medical screening, 24/7 emergency medical treatment and reassurance that any claim made will be responded to, and where possible, paid out within 24 hours.
Martin Moran, Commercial and Customer Service Director at Greater Anglia, commented on the partnership: “Greater Anglia is delighted to be partnering with Thomas Cook Money. We are always looking for ways to provide our customers with added value on their journeys, both here in the UK on our network, and when travelling abroad from Stansted Airport. This partnership with Thomas Cook Money is the start of an exciting transformational period for Greater Anglia as we bring in a complete fleet of new trains on all our services over the next two years.”
Brian House, Managing Director of White Horse Insurance Ireland dac, said that the partnership will help holidaymakers: “We are thrilled to be working with Greater Anglia to provide an enhanced and customisable travel insurance for Stansted Express travellers which can be bought in a matter of minutes. Our aim has always been to provide a simple and straightforward insurance product, so holidaymakers can enjoy their time away with peace of mind.”
