Real-time case handling in Turkey

Scandinavian assistance provider SOS International and Eurocross Turkey have joined their efforts in an initiative to orchestrate the real-time management of medical cases in Turkey. The aim of the collaboration is to ensure the companies’ core medical competencies are applied at the earliest stages of treatment to enable improved patient care and a smoother communication cycle with medical providers.

The programme was trialled by the companies last summer and will be continued following its success in influencing the outcome of medical claims in the country. Commenting on the collaboration, SOS International’s Executive Vice President for the Medical Division, Karin Tranberg, said: “Turkey represents a large part of [our] total case volume, which is why it is a strategically important area of focus for [us] … the local knowledge and competences of Eurocross Turkey will benefit all parties in the course of the real-time case handling … we are looking forward to closely following the results (of this programme).”
