Zurich Malaysia partners with MYAirline

Zurich Malaysia has teamed up with the Kuala Lumpur-based MYAirline to provide optional travel insurance to passengers

The insurance costs 26.50 ringgit (US$5.86) per one-way trip, or 29.68 ringgit for a return, and is applicable across all MyAirline domestic routes within Malaysia.

The MYAirline route network currently covers eight domestic destinations, served by 30 flights per day.

The insurance offers protection against flight delays and cancellation, baggage loss, accidental medical expenses of up to 10,000 ringgit, accidental death and permanent disablement compensation of up to 100,000 ringgits for travellers between the ages of two and 75 years old, and Covid-19 and travel assistance benefits.

Zurich operates a number of subsidiaries worldwide. However, the company chose to sell its business in Russia in May 2022 in response to the war in Ukraine.
