Vietjet Air offers comprehensive insurance
Low-cost airline Vietjet Air has introduced a comprehensive insurance package under its Sky Care brand
The insurance offers benefits worth up to VND100 million (US$4,300), and launched on 25 April.
The policy was introduced to coincide with the start of direct flights by the airline between Vietnam and Australia, and is exclusively available to passengers on those flights.
All ticketholders of direct flights between Australia and Vietnam will automatically receive the policy, regardless of ticket class.
The policy offers benefits such as:
- Reimbursement of medical expenses incurred due to accident or illness (including Covid-19)
- Flight-related problems such as flight or baggage delay, baggage or travel document loss, and
- 24/7 global travel and medical support services.
Korean Air recently partnered with Chubb in Korea to offer travel insurance to passengers.
