business partnership handshake

Global Excel Management, a supplier of healthcare risk management solutions, has acquired a majority share of Blue Sky Health

Trading under the Flightcare Global brand, Blue Sky Health is the provider of a range of technology-based products and services, designed to help manage medical events pre-flight, in-flight and on the ground.

Global Excel CEO Reg Allat described the acquisition as a ‘perfect fit, strategically’, which ‘allows us to better support our clients with a highly qualified and like-minded partner’.

“We’ve always seen the aviation health sector as a market segment with significant potential. Global Excel has long provided ground services to various airlines, but our long-term goal was always to expand the range of services we offered,” he added.

Meanwhile, Flightcare Global CEO Dr David Newman added that ‘with Global Excel’s support, we are able to offer a stronger solution stack to our clients’.

Global Excel explained that ‘over the coming months, both companies will continue to focus on providing the highest level of service to … respective clients, while identifying synergistic opportunities … both in the air and on the ground’.

ITIJ spoke to Global Excel about how their Operations Team and Complex Claims Unit use data analytics to improve customer experience and control costs, as part of our July 2022 issue.
