Seven Corners makes customers its ‘highest priority’
The US travel insurance specialist has launched its 24/SEVEN customer service guarantee, allowing customers to travel confidently
Seven Corner’s President Jeremy Murchland explains that the company’s new offering comes in response to the global pandemic: “Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on travellers, we recognised we needed to do more for our customers during this challenging time.”
As such, Seven Corners’ new 24/SEVEN customer service guarantees that customers have:
- An easy purchase process
- Daily purchase assistance from the Seven Corners’ sales team
- Timely and relevant information shared via email from time of purchase through to the time of departure and return home
- 24/7 access to Seven Corners’ Customer Service team
- Tools and technology that allow travellers to connect with Seven Corners’ assistance through their online account, mobile app or through a text/chat channel
- 24/7 travel assistance services with the ability to video chat with the Assist Services team
- Responsive and timely claims processes
“24/SEVEN is our commitment to industry-leading customer service to ensure that customers have the best travel insurance coverage and receive the highest form of customer service and assistance when they do feel comfortable to travel again,” Murchland added.
The company notes that 24/SEVEN is a ‘continuation of previous initiatives to better serve customers’ needs’ – these include the travel insurer’s The Right Way to Travel customer pledge, which launched in 2020, and customer loyalty programme Navigator Alliance, which offered a variety of free benefits and services to travel insurance customers.
“As a travel insurance company, Seven Corners exists to provide health, safety and security for people who are travelling domestically and internationally,” Murchland said. “In our work, we help people all over the world navigate difficult situations, and our 24/SEVEN initiative will assist in furthering that.”
In the March 2021 issue of ITIJ, Murchland spoke about how travel in the US was likely to emerge from the global pandemic, and how travel insurers needed to prepare for travel beyond Covid.
