Quick roaming service for Africa travellers
A new programme will provide quick and cheap roaming communication to tourists and business travellers in 10 African countries. Launched by Vodacom, the programme will offer free incoming calls, which will be shared between mobile service providers in western, eastern and southern African states, enabling travellers to contact one another – or, in the event of emergencies, doctors – quickly and conveniently. Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, South Africa, Lesotho, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique are all included in the programme.
