QLM Life and Medical Insurance expands its global medical network
The Middle Eastern life and health insurer has expanded its global medical network to include over 70,000 hospitals and medical centres across five continents
In line with the company’s expansion, QLM Life and Medical Insurance (part of Qatar Insurance Group) has expanded its global medical network having conducted reviews of major hospitals and medical centres to ensure consistent quality of healthcare services.
Salem bin Khalaf Al Mannai, CEO of Qatar Insurance Group, commented: “QLM is preparing for a major start by developing its products to suit the largest segment of its customer audience. Accordingly, we have expanded our global medical network to include more than 70,000 hospitals and medical centres around the world spread across five continents.”
Covid-19 postponed QLM’s announcement
“The development of the company’s global medical network was completed earlier this year, but we postponed its announcement due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the suspension of international travel,” continued Al Mannai. “Since travel restrictions are being lifted gradually, we thought that it was time to announce the expansion of the new network, which is considered as one of the largest medical networks for an insurance company in the region and is comparable in terms of size and excellence of accessibility to major international insurance companies.”
The new expansion includes major hospitals, dispensaries, clinics, medical centres, dental and ophthalmology clinics and pharmacies around the world, and QLM plans to contact its clients to provide them with details of the global medical network in the near future.
