IPMI cover for pilots

Expat insurance firm Regency for Expats’ new product offers flexible levels of cover that extends to all corners of the world

High-flying by name and nature, pilots frequently travel across international borders, stopping over in far-flung destinations. So, it seems only right that they should have international private medical insurance (IPMI) that offers them a considerable level of cover.

Regency for Expats’ Pilot Health Insurance product is, therefore, a pertinent offering for commercial pilots. Available to clients in over 120 countries, and with a discount of up to 60 per cent for pilots keen to take out a policy in 2021, the firm’s IPMI product aims to ‘take the headache out of the process of finding the right policy’, according to the insurer.

“As a leading global expat insurer, Regency for Expats is uniquely equipped to provide the most advanced international insurance solutions. Based on research and our knowledge of the private health insurance market, we understand the very specific type of cover and level of flexibility policyholders expect within this field,” said Regency for Expats’ Development Manager, Kayla Hall. “The new Pilot Health Insurance policy provides more options for clients, thereby offering peace of mind that they can be covered for almost every eventuality, in any corner of the world.”

The flexible cover also includes life and dental cover, as well offering add-ons such as psychology, fitness, wellness and nutrition. Just as well, as a recent study by Cigna noted that taking a holistic approach to benefits would help providers reap the best rewards.
