The Ranchi Municipal Corporation, the local government body for the city of Ranchi, in the Indian state of Jharkhand, has signed a sub-lease agreement with Apollo Hospital Enterprises for the construction of a new hospital in the Ranchi Smart City.
According to a report by the Times of India, the sub-lease, which covers an area of 2.75 acres, will be used to construct a new 250-bed hospital. The lease will run for an initial period of 45 years sub-lease deed, with options to extend further.
A ground-breaking ceremony for the new hospital has been scheduled for 15 November.
