More Th>n, a UK-based provider of motor, pet and home insurance, recently announced the appointment of affinity insurance provider Hood Group to launch More Th>n’s new travel insurance products. According to a company release, the new offering ‘aims to give customers a choice of great value travel insurance packages plus a range of additional cover options including gadget cover, excess waiver, winter sports, golfing holidays and business travel’. Children under the age of 18 are covered for free under a family policy. The policy also offers cover for various pre-existing medical conditions – for an additional premium – and an online system will be used, so that customers can disclose any conditions quickly and efficiently when seeking a quote.
