Maui second only to Vegas
US-based leisure, business and franchise travel network Travel Leaders Group has released the results of its annual Fall Travel Trends Survey, which shows that Maui is becomingly increasingly popular. The Hawaiian island was the second-most-popular destination on the survey, behind Las Vegas, outperforming Orlando for the first time. Data also showed that 80.9 per cent of travel agents included in the survey indicated that year-to-date bookings are either the same as or better than they were this time last year. The survey included data from 871 US-based travel agents, managers and other affiliated organisations.
