The new offering will provide travel insurance products for families, individuals, students, groups and cruises, costing from as little as two euros, with cancellation cover provided as an add-on, and subscription capabilities for occasional / weekly / yearly trip cover.
“Today it is more important than ever to be prepared and well-positioned for the end of this health crisis,” said Jorge Garcia, Commercial Director of InterMundial, commenting on the future of travel and tourism following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. “Short-stay trips will be the first to be restored once the current situation is overcome and will gradually return to normal until they reach an appropriate level within the situation. The adjustment of coverage to customer demand and travel characteristics, as well as 100 per cent online access, enable us to maintain our strategic position in specialty insurance. “
YOLO’s Luis Domínguez commented on the collaboration in light of the current pandemic: “Currently, if possible, accelerating digitalisation is one of the priorities of the insurance sector. Thanks to this, we continue to build collaborations with world-class companies such as InterMundial in record time.”
