The app launched earlier this year to provide access to physical and psychological rehabilitation services for all Healix members. It reduces waiting times for treatment by up to 60 per cent.
It is able to do so through partnerships with providers such as EQL and Mind Right. EQL provides members with access to its Phio digital support tool for clinically led treatment for musculoskeletal issues.
Similarly, Mind Right’s psychological rehabilitation services offers members access to clinical professionals to direct them towards the treatment or specialists without waiting months for NHS availability. Users are given the tools to manage their health in the long-term to promote sustained recovery.
Reducing pressure on the NHS
Designed in line with such expertise, the app means employers can offer staff accelerated access to key clinical support at every step of the treatment journey. Staff recover and return to work more quickly, improving workplace productivity and reducing pressure on the NHS at a critical time.
Ian Talbot, CEO at Healix, commented: “The statistics are already showing that early intervention is reducing recovery time, and helping people get back to work sooner as healthier, happier and more productive individuals.”
