From over 120 entries submitted, 24 finalists were agreed upon with the category winners being picked by an expert judging panel comprising of 33 health industry professionals and leaders. The panel then decided on one overall winner from the six category winners. Gordon Henderson, Digital and Innovation Director, AXA PPP healthcare, said: “The AXA PPP Health Tech & You awards honour the new generation of technology developers that are bringing healthcare into the hands of the user and encouraging behavioural change to help maintain and improve their own and their families’ health – whether at home, at work or at leisure. All of the finalists submitted outstanding examples of personal health technology and our winners have demonstrated that they are among the best in this emerging sector.”
