The deal helps Healix further support clients, with access to crisis management specialists in the event of hijacks, kidnaps and ransoms

Healix International, a global provider of travel risk management and international, medical security and travel assistance services, has linked up with Schillings – a firm providing international security and intelligence services to help businesses respond to any crisis.

Through this partnership, Healix clients can access Schillings’ hijack, kidnap and ransom consultancy as part of the Corporate Business Travel package. This includes access to Schillings’ specialists in the event of a crisis to advise an organisation on the best course of action, assist in the formation of a Crisis Management Team (CMT) and establish a timeline framework.

In cases of ransom, the company helps Healix customers decide on target settlement figures, based on regional intelligence assessments.

Additionally, Schillings also assists clients to liaise with all stakeholders, including the victims’ families, friends and co-workers, as well as local authorities, the media and governments.

Charlie Butcher, CEO, Healix International, said: “[The] return to corporate travel and the recent crisis in Europe has pushed us to consider the importance of our offering in providing holistic crisis support for our members and their staff.

“This partnership builds on this even further – Schillings has an impressive record of successful interventions and their responses provide invaluable guidance and advice for clients. We are confident they will receive the best possible support and outcome in the event of a crisis and Healix is on hand to help every step of the way too.”

Brittany Damora, Senior Associate of Critical Risk Advisory at Schillings Partners, added: “Our Critical Risk team are proud to be partnering with Healix to add to their leading risk response services. By combining both organisations’ expertise, we can offer a robust and holistic solution to the growing safety and security risks we’re seeing today.”

Healix also recently launched a new bespoke benefit to its corporate healthcare trust plan, for employees with neurodevelopmental disorders.
