Easier travel from India to New Zealand
Thomas Cook India has announced a new Tourism Industry Partnership (TIP) programme with Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) and Immigration New Zealand (INZ).
The agreement makes Thomas Cook the preferred partner for both agencies. The TIP programme will focus on trying to streamline the visa application process for those wishing to travel from India to New Zealand, bringing the visa application processing time down from 15 days to three days.
According to Thomas Cook, New Zealand is growing as a destination for both families and millennial travellers with its combination of extreme sports and spectacular scenery. Through the TIP, Thomas Cook India will benefit from the new visa process, making it easier for its customers to go to New Zealand.
Rajeev Kale, President and Country Head of Holidays, MICE, Visa & Passport, Thomas Cook India said he was honoured that Thomas Cook India had been selected as a preferred agent for the partnership. “We have seen a strong and steady growth of travellers heading to New Zealand; with a growth of more than 19 per cent over the last few years, it has turned into a key market for Thomas Cook India. This new visa process will make it even easier for Indian travellers to experience New Zealand and we are confident of seeing higher uptake.”
