CoverForYou launches new version of TravelMate app

Travel insurer CoverForYou has launched a new and improved version of its TravelMate app.

The latest version of the app was created to support customer concerns, as holidaymakers are more anxious than ever due to the lingering effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the need for a practical, immediate solution for emergencies.

This new version provides travellers with direct, around-the-clock emergency assistance from the app and is accessible from anywhere in the world.

The features of the TravelMate app include:

• Direct access to 24/7 assistance in a medical emergency, along with all policy details available
• Access to all local emergency numbers based on destination
• A translation service, which also works offline
• An automatic claims form – the important elements are autofilled
• Access to CoverForYou travel insurance details and policy management
• Access to additional CoverForYou policies, including gadget and car hire excess insurance policies.

Policyholders can download the app, which is also now connected to the CoverForYou Loyalty Club.
