Cover-More appoints APM

Australian provider of travel insurance and emergency assistance, Cover-More, has appointed Magda Biniaszewski to the newly created position of ancillary product manager (APM). The appointment ‘reflects Cover-More’s commitment to expand their offering of ancillary products to enhance Australians’ travel experiences, as well as help to keep them safe when they are overseas’, said the company. Magda’s immediate priority will be further developing Cover-More’s world-first Global SIM offering which the company launched earlier this year.

Cover-More’s marketing and strategy manager Zac Brookes said: “We are very pleased with the success of our Global SIM product which gives our travel insurance customers access to cheap calls and data while they travel. Magda will help us to maintain this momentum and continue developing products our customers will love to use.”

Magda joins Cover-More from Citibank Australia, where she was marketing manager for brand and advertising, responsible for overseeing the bank’s above-the-line and digital marketing strategies. She has also held positions at BT, ING Direct, GE Money and Médecins Sans Frontières in a career spanning Sydney, Melbourne and London.

On her appointment, Magda said: “I’m excited to join Cover-More’s marketing team who are focused on customer-led innovation and the customer experience. The Global SIM is a fantastic value-add product and I’m looking forward to continuing to create the best possible differentiated experience for our customers.”
