Collinson Group appoints Ben Haden
Collinson Group has appointed Ben Haden as senior healthcare underwriter for Astrenska, the group’s specialist underwriting division. The appointment is part of the Collinson Group’s overall strategy to grow their position within the international health and dental arena and to develop their underwriting presence working with both internal partners and a number of longstanding trading relationships. Ben will report to head of healthcare Carolyn Pritchard, and will be responsible for managing the healthcare underwriting department, as well as supervising existing broker and client relationships. In addition, Ben will be responsible for the division’s overall contribution to the group’s growth strategy within the healthcare sector.
Ben Haden has 15 years’ healthcare underwriting experience split across the UK domestic and international markets. His roles have included work for both corporate and small and medium sized businesses. Prior to joining Astrenska, Ben was senior healthcare underwriter at Assicurazioni Gernerali, as well as international underwriting manager at AXA PPP Healthcare International.
