Will Ashcroft, chief sales officer for Allianz Global Assistance and leader of the New Zealand-based team on which she will be serving, was enthusiastic about her appointment: “Our local sales team is committed to providing quality service to our partners and customers and we are proud to guarantee a one-working-day turnaround … for all incoming underwriting enquiries. Chantal’s experience will greatly complement our offering, allowing us to provide additional service to our corporate clients.”
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), meanwhile, has announced the appointment of Richard Spotswood (pictured) as senior technology PI and cyber underwriter. He will report to Graeme King, regional head of technology and cyber (UK, Ireland, MENA, Nordics and Australia), and take on responsibility for growing the company’s regional tech, media and cyber book, and supporting a number of its largest global clients.
“Technology PI and cyber is a significant growth area for AGCS,” said Graeme King. “Recruiting the right talent is essential to ensure we offer our clients the service they expect, and I am excited by the wealth of experience that Richard brings to the team.”
