Bright Health accredited for high-quality patient care
US-based insurance company Bright Health has received ‘Health Plan with Health Insurance Marketplace 7.3’ accreditation from US-based healthcare accrediting organisation URAC. The status means that Bright Health has demonstrated a commitment to high-quality patient-focused care, improved processes and improved patient outcomes.
According to URAC, accreditation signifies that an issuer has undergone and passed a rigorous and independent review of every aspect of its operation, including the quality of care and level of service provided to enrolees. “Bright Health is proud to offer the next generation of healthcare, which means delivering efficiency, predictability and cost savings to members through high-quality care partners,” said Bob Sheehy, CEO of Bright Health. “Being accredited by URAC is representative of our pledge to helping support patients from childhood through retirement, offering what is among the best and most affordable health insurance options out there. We are committed to upholding URAC's standards of quality at Bright Health.”
“Bright Health earned a recognition of its health plan with URAC accreditation that is recognised in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. It proved compliance with rigorous standards, proving an ability to adhere to the mandates of the Affordable Care Act and compete in insurance marketplaces nationwide,” said URAC President and CEO Kylan Green. “Bright Health demonstrates its quality and compliance with standards that align with state and federal expectations for a more value-based delivery of care.”
