Blink named a top-100 insurtech
The innovative travel insurance provider has made it onto FinTech Global’s annual The INSURTECH100 list
The list is a yearly rundown of the insurtech companies that FinTech Global considers the most innovative; the companies that make the list are those that are seen to be doing the most to solve major industry challenges, improving cost savings and driving efficiency. It is selected by a panel of expert industry analysts.
Ireland-based insurtech Blink was founded in 2016 as a two-man startup and was bought by CPP Group just six months later. It works primarily within parametric insurance, partnering with insurers and other financial services providers across Europe, Asia and North America, streamlining client offerings into simplified, intuitive services. Its Blink Travel subsidiary offers real-time data-driven travel disruption solutions.
Co-Founder Paul Prendergast commented: “We are honoured to be named amongst the best and brightest in the global insurtech industry. Selected from a pool of more than 1,000 companies and being awarded such recognition makes this a very proud day for us. Three years after we started Blink, we continue to grow at speed, driven by our product innovation, insurance partnerships and our ambition to provide insurtech solutions to end users in every corner of the world.”
The list also includes companies like PremFina Ltd, Anorak, Embroker, Pie Insurance, Shift Technology and Toffee Insurance.
