battleface partners with Holiday Extras to provide enhanced cover
The new partnership will see Holiday Extras’ Covid-19 travel cover expanded to include destinations worldwide, including those under FCO and government non-essential travel advisories
UK-based battleface, which provides unique travel medical insurance benefits and services to travellers visiting or working internationally, including in some of the world’s most challenging places, has struck up a partnership with UK provider of holiday services – including airport booking, car hire and insurance – Holiday Extras.
Through the partnership, Holiday Extras customers can now access the battleface travel insurance policy, which includes Covid-19 travel insurance cover for destinations anywhere in the world, including those on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) exemption list such as France, Spain and the US. The new policy provides cover should customers fall ill and require medical or emergency assistance 24/7 while on holiday, including medical expenses incurred by Covid-19, loss of baggage, personal money and passport and personal liability.
Sasha Gainullin, CEO of battleface, noted that the company was excited to be working with Holiday Extras to offer its insurance to the firm’s eight million customers a year, offering protection to those travellers, no matter where in the world they’re travelling.
Howard Dove, Insurance Director at Holiday Extras, commented: “Just two weeks after we launched our Covid-19 travel insurance for trips to countries on the FCO exemption list, we’re pleased to announce we can now offer cover for trips to every destination via our partnership with battleface. Being able to offer good, comprehensive travel insurance to all of our customers is a key part of our long-term strategic plan and core to our industry’s much-needed recovery.”
