Ron Pinsky brings over 35 years of expertise to the role

AXA Partners US, a subsidiary of AXA Group, has announced the appointment of Ron Pinsky as Director of Business Development – Travel.

Pinsky will lead new business development for the Travel Insurance and Assistance Services of AXA Partners US, responsible for building partnerships to sell travel insurance services and insurance via agencies, distributors, travel partners, retailers and through direct digital channels. He will also work alongside the Sales and Distribution team to develop new partnerships.

Pinsky joins AXA with over 20 years’ experience as a senior business development executive for global insurance and assistance companies, such as AIG, GeoBlue, MSH International and Falck Global Assistance.

Blessy George, CEO of AXA Partners US, said: “I’m delighted that Ron has joined our team, as he will be instrumental to develop business with travel partners and retailers. With Ron joining our Sales & Distribution Team, I’m confident in our potential to grow in the US Travel industry and become a leader in this market.”

Pinsky said: “I’m thrilled to be joining AXA Partners at such a dynamic time for our industry. The resurgence in global travel, combined with AXA’s ability to enter the US travel insurance market, is extremely exciting. I’m proud to be working for a diverse, progressive company, committed to driving new growth in our US Travel business.”

As the global travel insurance market is expected to grow considerably over the next five years, having the right leadership is key.
