Australia won’t allow tourists to enter until 2022

Although Australia's borders are set to reopen next month, they will remain closed for inbound foreign tourists
International tourists won't be welcomed back to Australia until 2022, according to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. Inbound passenger traffic will be restricted to Australians, foreign workers and students.
"We will get to international visitors as well, I believe next year," Morrison said.
This comes after the PM last week announced plans to allow vaccinated citizens to fly overseas from November. A start date is dependent on the vaccination rate reaching 80 per cent.
Australia has had one of the strictest border policies of any country since the start of the pandemic, making it difficult for Australian citizens to return home or go overseas.
