Allianz UK celebrates anniversary of partnership with charity Mind
Allianz UK is celebrating the anniversary of its partnership with the mental health charity Mind
They are hosting employee events and will be raising funds for the charity.
Carolyn Rich, Head of Brand Marketing and Social Responsibility at Allianz, said: “We are really proud of how our employees have embraced the charity partnership with great enthusiasm. We’re looking forward to the many exciting fundraising events which are planned for 2020.”
The workforce of Allianz UK has already raised £400,000 for Mind since March 2019. The money goes towards Mind’s continuous effort to support people with mental health problems.
“Raising £400,000 in the first year of our partnership with Mind is a fantastic achievement and great progress towards our £1 million target by the end of 2021,” said Rich.
Emma Ihsan, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Mind, said: “We are so grateful to the employees at Allianz for their commitment and enthusiasm in getting behind the first year of this three-year partnership. One in four of us will experience a mental health problem every year, so it is vital that we provide advice, information, and support so that no one has to face their experience alone. The money they have raised, and continue to raise throughout this partnership, will help us to achieve this.”
