Airlegit to offer travel insurance via platform

The policy is available to all US residents, via AirLegit’s application program interface (API).

It includes a range of protection, including trip cancellation, delay and interruption; baggage delay; and emergency medical and dental assistance. Additional benefits include pet care and frequent travel awards reimbursement.

AirLegit also partnered with insurer battleface in February, to launch the FlightGuard48 solution worldwide through its API.
