HIC’s Stroke Center recognised as diamond standard

The Hospital Internacional de Colombia’s (HIC’s) Stroke Center of Excellence has received a Diamond category recognition from the Angels Initiative

The recognition highlights HIC’s top-tier commitment to high standards and practices in the care of stroke patients. It comes shortly after the Center received recertification from the Joint Commission International (JCI).

The Angels Initiative is an international organisation dedicated to improving stroke treatment globally.

The Diamond category recognition was awarded in alliance with the World Stroke Organization, a group that sets and monitors standards and practices for the management of the condition.

Elsewhere, tourists will soon be able to obtain United Arab Emirates (UAE) health insurance with their visa application.
