Bupa and the London Clinic launch new Specialist Centre

The prostate cancer Specialist Centre is the third London Clinic pathway to be granted the status
Bupa UK Insurance has awarded Specialist Centre status to the London Clinic’s prostate cancer pathway.
The new centre will allow Bupa health insurance customers to get an appointment within two working days – with access to all initial diagnostic tests and scans at the same appointment.
If necessary, customers will then be able to receive treatment within 31 days of calling Bupa.
The partnership is the third time that Bupa has conferred Specialist Centre status on the London Clinic – the hospital’s breast cancer pathway received this recognition in 2019, while its bowel cancer pathway was recognised as a Specialist Centre in 2022.
“We’re proud to be expanding our Specialist Centres for cancer even further, providing fast access to tests and treatment for our health insurance customers,” said Alex Perry, CEO of Bupa UK Insurance. “This speed and early diagnosis helps many Bupa customers to avoid more invasive treatments in the long-term and saves lives.”
Al Russell, Chief Executive of The London Clinic added: “We’re honoured to have received this reputable stamp of approval from Bupa for our prostate cancer care services.”
Bupa also agreed to partner with over-50s insurer Saga earlier this year.
