Air Nostrum adopts new software

Spanish regional airline Air Nostrum is taking part in a new project that will see it implement exciting new software that assists with detailed quality and risk management.
The software, Coruson, is an enterprise cloud software application developed by UK-based global software firm Ideagen. It is used by a number of large aviation organisations, including British Airways, Air Asia and Ryanair.
It will provide Air Nostrum with complete control, visibility and real-time reporting of every detail and aspect of safety and operational risk. “This is an innovative software project with Ideagen, which will help to transform and ultimately enhance our quality, safety and risk management operations,” said Fermin Tirado, Chief Maintenance Officer, Air Nostrum.
Mario Franco, Director of IT at Air Nostrum, also commented on the news: “Both Air Nostrum and Ideagen are ambitious leaders in their respective fields and we are looking forward to seeing the impact that Ideagen’s expertise and software product in the form of Coruson has on our business. We are very pleased to be working alongside Ideagen and its Coruson software in this project.”
Steven Cespedes, Ideagen’s Head of Aviation, expressed delight at the partnership: “This project cements our standing in the global aviation industry, and we look forward to helping Air Nostrum achieve operational excellence throughout all aspects of its safety, quality and risk management operations.”
